Question: Where is your business located (city & state)? Who are the customers you serve? What products or services does you company provide?
Your Answer: Hagerstown, MD The services are nationwide so my business can take me almost anywhere . The customers served are small business owners, families, commercial drivers and employee benefits. Products provided are Unique Legal Service Plans, at an affordable price for the family and small business owner and INCLUDE a number of areas people use from real estate to divorce advice, speeding tickets to will preparation, identity theft, business owners needs and more.
Question: When did you start your business? Why did you decide to start your own business?
Your Answer: 2001. My business is home based and I am an independent associate, I wanted to be at home and have that freedom.
Question: Did you quit your "day job" to start your business? How did you initially fund your business?
Your Answer: Yes, I quit my job at the hospital. It didn't require much funding and I earned an income along the way, through marketing Legal Service Plans.
Question: What has been the biggest challenge in running your company?
Your Answer: Distractions in the home area, needing to set limits and focus.
Question: What’s been the biggest opportunity that came from owning your business?
Your Answer: Working in my home office, building a team in other areas and meeting some wonderful people
Question: What has surprised you most about being your own boss?
Your Answer: I am driven, determined
Question: Is there a success tactic you’d like to share that could help other business owners (i.e. implementing new software, tactic to grow sales, etc.)?
Your Answer: In my line of work, meeting people and networking. Much of my work is public relations

Your Answer: Every business should have access to legal coverage and be able to afford it and they can.
