    The Real Story of: Road-Help

     

    Question: Where is your business located (city & state)?  Who are the customers you serve?  What products or services does you company provide?

    Your Answer: Las Vegas - Henderson NV.  We serve on call 24 hrs daily to folks that need help with their vehicle breakdown, etc.



    Question: When did you start your business? Why did you decide to start your own business?
    Your Answer: Summer of 2005, I decided to open up because it was my calling to do so.  It was fun and I got to help people.



    Question: Did you quit your "day job" to start your business?  How did you initially fund your business?
    Your Answer: I had started a not for profit 501 c3 and needed to fund the charity.  This is how I got into this business. 



    Question: What has been the biggest challenge in running your company?
    Your Answer:
    Funding is key to our success due to the equipment we need to provide services to our community, for profit or not for profit.



    Question: What’s been the biggest opportunity that came from owning your business?
    Your Answer: I found that reaching my clients while they are in despair is good moment to comfort them with Gods love by providing them not only a business card to our business but an invitation to our local church we attend, www.gvchristian.com


    Question: What has surprised you most about being your own boss?
    Your Answer: I never thought I'd learn so much about cars and now being able to provide up to mechanical work for not only my personal cars, which saves money.. but also extending this to my clients at a cheap rate as well.  There has been so much else I have learned like creating and managing our website is excellent for the budget and schedule.  I keep going... but I'll add this last note:  No matter what struggle we have - we meet it face to face!



    Question: Is there a success tactic you’d like to share that could help other business owners (i.e. implementing new software, tactic to grow sales, etc.)?
    Your Answer: Keep up with demand, make sure you are responsible regarding your insurances and so forth.  Love what you do daily or get out.  No one needs negativity in these times of what needs to be togetherness and brother hood.  Communion is key to our community thriving, since the driving energy of business is people, then lets get that good energy out there.  Also, be honest to yourself and your client.  If things get overwhelming do not despair, call a friend and talk.." let it out babeh lol "


    Question: What’s the best piece of advice you could give to other small business owners?
    Your Answer:  Stay relaxed, make sure you have hobbies other than your business and family is before business, and I will repeat - Family is before business.  God is before family.  Let the lord lead your path because we have no idea what the future has, only he does.  Oh and keep up your PNL sheet.
