Lawyers on the forums?

Are there any lawyers on the forums? Particularly working in California or Illinois? Anywhere else would be okay, but I would prefer either someone in IL that I could meet in person with or someone in California since I am concerned about some paperwork received from a potential client in CA.

Please see my profile for this forums for information about my company or feel free to go to www.xenopodinc.com and contact me via the contact link.

I know there are several wise business people on the forums so if any of you have referrals for your own counsel I would appreciate those as well.

My company already works with a lawyer, but it is seemingly increasingly possible that we may need to switch or at least add additional counsel for the company.

Thanks.

Yes - I have a bar license in Georgia and Michigan, but I have a colleague in Illinois who can help you out as well.

See my profile for contact information.

It is regarding some paperwork for a potential contract so contract law I believe is most appropriate.

ok, since it is contract law, I believe the attorney has to be in the state of the initiation of the contract.

I could be wrong.

I would strongly suggest Bernard Gartland for recommendations for anything in CA.
