You don't need a 1,000 dollars. You said you are good with computers and you build websites, well I got the perfect business for you. It is only going to cost 299 and it is a real business, no mlm or any of that crap. You will have to work though, and all you need is a computer and a internet connection, but I promise you this will be the best decision to date. I just started in feb 20 of this year and I already see positive results. I will start making money shortly.

Check out my site. http://www.the-gumball-guru.com

and the the website to start is

Best decision I have ever made.

It really depends on the person, what you like to do and what you are qualified to do. For some people, if you just have a simple talent you can turn it into a full time business for fairly cheap. I started my small business several years ago after my daughter was born. A simple talent I taught myself which most people cannot beleive I have turned into what I have has turned into a VERY sucessful business for me. I design and sell little girls hair acessories on my online boutique. My business has taken off so much so that my husband was able to quit his job to stay home and watch our 5 kids while I work at my busy full time business.

Sooo it may not be for everyone but if you have a talent, explore it in the business sense :)

Your post was made in 2007.

By now you must have started a business or got yourself a job.

All I can say is best stay with your competence. If you don't have any special competence then some form of sales is the best to start. It teaches you to convince people either face to face or by phone or a convincing website, how to collect money and keep up relations with customers.

Hello!

I have the perfect solution to your question. I started my home based business over a year ago after working full time in the healthcare industry for 22 years. Now I work from home in my pj's :)

Have you ever heard of a virtual assistant? This is a service you can provide to "buyers" that list jobs that you bid on. There are two reputable sites that have "job offerings" from corporations, individuals, entrapreneurs, anyone that needs a little help.
First step: Check out www.elance.com or www.guru.com - you can join these sites for free, or pay a small membership fee (9.95 to 39.95) per month. The fee depends on how many "jobs" you would like to bid on per month. Free membership at elance will give you 3 bids. There are about 8-10 major job categories, each having several sub-categories where you can browse the job that's right for you. For you it sounds like the finance category would be perfect. Note that you have to pay additional membership fees if you are listed as a provider in more than one category. Personally, I prefer Elance.com - but take a look at both.

What I would recommend is this - start with a free membership, look around, see how it works, and even bid on a job or two. My first job paid me $75 and I worked for 30 mins. on it! Both sites will take a small percentage out of your pay, which is secure through their sites. They have several measures in place to be sure that you are paid by your buyer, and that all transactions are legal and binding. Another important note: since you are "contracting" to do a job for a buyer, reputation is EVERYTHING. If you bid on a job, you MUST be able to deliver. Don't make false promises because you will not be hired again. There is a rating system, and if you have a poor rating, jobs will be few and far between.

This is a great resource for students, stay at home mom's, or anyone wanting to branch out into a part time gig for a little extra cash. To end my story, I did several jobs which eventually turned into repeat jobs for a couple of buyers and now I work almost exclusively for them. The best part is, all you need is a computer and a telephone. Sometimes fax is helpful if you have access to one. Moving into a full time gig at home requires a little more office supply and equipment, but most people already have the essentials.

Please feel free to email me your contact information if you like. I'd love to talk personally on this and give you more insights to the great world of virtual assisting!

Best of Luck!

I can show how to start your own business and work from home for $99. You will have to sell online advertising to small business, and talk to people, but you do not have to carry any inventory, you can manage your business online and we are a GREEN company. For $99 you will receive $1,000 worth of ads, to give away to your customers, when they purchase additional months, and receive a 50% commission on those ads, ($500). In Addition, you will receive 2 shares of stock for every $10 in revenue you generate. The stock is trading at $1.52 today.
For an addition $500 you can purchase a license to give away for free, web stores that contain 2 million brand name products at competetive prices, to anyone you know how owns a web site.

Best Regards,
Biz1Solutions

Be careful for quick rich ads. They are the worst.

I started doing three different things that I care about.

#1- Invest in what you love doing, not what you others love doing.
#2- Do your homework and find out about the comapanies before getting out the check book.
and #3- Ask yourself is this something that a handful of people will need or a nation or possibly the whole world.

I started making music for free for years (over 12) and now I'm a music producer with audiosparx selling my original instrumental music all over the world. @

http://www.audiosparx.com/KingDaddyDee

Then I love telling people about living healthy so basically when you look at what we're made out of (water- about 70% water) I invest much time to research about this miracle water called" Kagen Water".

Here's the link to watch the videos if you want to here more about it.

http://www.itshealthywater.com/darryl

Or email me and I can send you a free DVD explaining it. Just give me your name address and contact number and you're all set and I'll mail it to you free.

And last but not least I do co-own a website selling ebooks on how to make money with you digital camera. It's true you can make a very nice living with you digital camera with the right info behind you.

http://www.productsupplycenter.com/web91154/

Again only invest in what you love. What's your passion? Do that. Second after you know that the rest in simple. Just don't throw everything out in the trash but invest in your passion first then invest in something you can live with and then you'll do fine. Never invest in something you have no clue about it how it works.

Now if it's a cheap invest, like less than 20 bucks, well how hasn't done that? But if it's like $10,000 and up well, I'd think that over and do my homework. Word to the wise, make up your mind when you are fully awake, never make a big decision when you're about to go to bed.

Darryl a.k.a Deepoet

PS. here's one for free. You'll have a website that when you shop from it, you save money and you can make a little money for spreading the word when others showe on it:

What's better than free?

0!

Nada!

Zero!

Nothing!
