A few words about me and my business:

When I retired after 35 years as a mortgage banker, I thought my "working" days were finished. I was enjoying the"good" life traveling the country in my motorhome with my wife, Carolyn and Max, our Bichon. I always had an interest in social and political issues. Little did I know those interests would be the catalyst to propel me into an endeavor that would be a life changing experience. In 1994, my wife, at that time contracted colon cancer. Symptoms started in April of that year, but tests, which are now considered routine, were deemed experimental back then and denied. Finally in September the tests were authorized. By then the cancer had traveled to other organs and no amount of surgery or chemo would arrest the advance of the inevitable. Four years of needless suffering and over $60,000 of unnecessary out of pocket cost all at the hands of a traditional 3rd party payer. Needless to say, that experience left a bitter taste in my mouth about any type of 3rd party payer either private or public, as many of our elected officials are promoting. In early 2007, I became acquainted with a company that has developed the perfect alternative to the outrageously expensive and grossly inefficient 3rd party payer system Americans look to for their medical and dental care. After much consideration and prayer, I decided to join their ranks. At my age(71) that decision was not an easy one. But the experience I had in 1994 mandated I take some action. No Brainer probably best describes my feelings. Currently there are 46 million people who are uninsured and maybe 4 times that number who are underinsured. Therefore I have set out to introduce as many of those uninsured Americans to the perfect alternative and allow them to sleep at night without worrying that a medical emergency is going to drive them into bankruptcy court. Actuarial charts tell me I have limited time left on the green side of sod, so my mission is to spread the word to as fast and far as I can in the limited time I have left.
