A few words about me and my business:

Established in December 2005, Hair off the Dog (and Cats too), LLC provides a safe, low stress, cage-free mobile grooming service for the Southern California pet communities of Santa Clarita (and surrounding areas), Castaic, Lancaster, Palmdale, Canyon Country, Acton, and Agua Dulce. About the Owners: In August 2001, Emily started working in the grooming department of a major pet retailer as a brusher/bather. She subsequently obtained her grooming certificate in March 2002. Before achieving her groomer status, she was in search of a career that would be in line with her life-long passion for animals. Grooming opened the door for her, and with 4 ˝ years of experience under her belt and a lot of research, she decided that a mobile pet grooming business was the way to go. Tracy obtained her MA in Organizational Management in July 2004 and has been the administrative force behind getting Hair off the Dog (and Cats too), LLC set up to do business. When she is not busy helping Emily bathe animals, she spends her time answering the phone, setting appointments, working with clients, and handling all of the administrative needs of the business. This enables Emily to focus strictly on grooming her pet clients. As a team, Emily and Tracy have managed to build Hair off the Dog (and Cats too), LLC to a level where they have over 100 clients and 170 pets with appointments booked through the end of 2007. With a virtual zoo at home, Emily and Tracy’s love for pets is evident, as they share their home with 5 dogs, 4 cats, and some fish.
