A few words about me and my business:

ALF Enterprises, Inc. is a closely held company where the primary business is researching and developing inventions and subsequently filing patents for many of the inventions. We will perform research and development of inventions for other companies which have the need for new unique inventions and patented products. We do not research and develop inventions for ideas. If you, or you and others have a joint idea, you are the only ones that can file for a patent for the idea. Go to a patent attorney or a research firm and have them do the research on the idea. Stay away from "invention promotion companies" as 99 out of a 100 are just out for your money. We will come up with inventions for a stated area, e.g., I want a unique product for residential door hardwware or I want a unique product for a handheld construction tool, etc. We do not cover all areas, e.g., electronic products because we do not have the expertise. We will let you know upfront whether we can and want to pursue a product for you. If we decide to pursue it, we take all the risk out of it for you. We never charge you anything for our research. We enter into a licensing contract with you once the research is complete. Unlike most inventors, we spend about 95% of our time researching the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database, the Internet, and currently available products. It makes no sense to file a patent where a product is already patented or currently available. All resulting patents are owned by ALF Enterprises, Inc. and will be licensed to the requesting company.
