The domain name is just that...name only. There is no website. The poster is what we call a domainer. He goes onto a domain name registering site such as godaddy or register or yahoo and and registers a lot of different domain names. Then when a business wants to perhaps use that particular name, they have to pay the person that owns the name on the domain registry. Some companies have paid millions of dollars to get domain names from people. Some of them will even to to such lengths to register another companies' name in .org, .biz. .eu and different countries all over the world.

This can get real expensive for a company. These domain name disputes have ended up on the courts as well.

The poster has registered this domain name and is now wanting to sell it. The question is: How Much?

Yep DomainDiva, there is a verification with trademark etc... before buying.

I prefer to create one than to buy one ;-)

Have you had the domain name appraised for value? Google 'domain name appraisal', get some quotes on what the expected value of this 'real estate' might be. GoDaddy offers such a service, but they also sell domain names so I wonder how neutral they might be - but it's a start.

And for a buyer, think about what you would do with this domain. Is it your business name? If so, you might be able to get it transferred to you through a trademark dispute resolution.

If you're just looking to create a 'top-X' type of website (not X as in x-rated, but as in a number: Top 10, Top 100 etc), one could purchase this, put together some nice research/articles on top-something businesses, and then sprinkle the site with text ads (google adsense, TextLinks, etc) and work the revenue that way. But the content must be relevant and interesting, and unique or Google will remove you as a MFA (made for Adwords) domain that offers no intrinsic value.

If you can write, take the above idea a step further and make a blog of it, offering articles or reviews/insights into existing articles and trends in the biz world. Original content built on existing content is perfectly acceptable, but is hard work. Revenue comes from text ads and sponsorships.

Whoever buys this, good luck - and if you need a great look and proper content management engine for your site, one that is fast to download, easy to navigate, SE friendly: give us a call.
