You need to submit your site to all search engines as a first step. You should also consider SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for your site and PPC (Pay Per Click) marketing.

You can email us at info@accuwiz.com or visit www.accuwiz.com and submit an inquiry, and we can help you with it.

Pay per Click is one method as described. There are other methods such as information marketing. I can provide you some suggestions if you would like. However what are you marketing? What would people be searching for? --- there is much to learn on SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Are you comfortable with Techy stuff?
or
Are you more comfortable with Plug and Play?

Although I am not a website company...one of the things I do enjoy is helping small business owners with a simple path. Since I focus on online marketing to build my business in the Telecommunications sector and have been working with online markets for the past 6 months I feel comfortable in sharing some information with other small business owners to short cut the growing stages of research etc.

If you share your domain here, I can provide you a quick run down of perhaps why. However, if you are uncomfortable, check your robots file to make sure that your site is not no-index. To get your site indexed fast, simply Digg it.

New websites usually take a while for the engines to index it. But rest assured it will eventually get indexed. As mentioned by some of the answers here, the best way to get indexed quickly is by posting articles to social bookmarks (digg, delicious) and/or squidoo.com

To know whether your site is indexed in Google, in the search box, type "site:www.yoursitename.com" of course without the quotes and replace the url with yours. If results show up then it means you're site is indexed.

Good luck!!

Fix or Make a Robot.tx File:

Copy Below and Paste in empty tx file:

user-agent:
disallow:

Use your note pad to create this file and upload it to your web server.

Create a meta keyword, description and title for each page of your website.

final: search for those keywords or phrases that you placed on your keyword
within your website.

Looks like a few people are willing to help - but again - you need to include the website URL so those of us with years of experience can take a quick look and offer suggestions. I will say this - don't start submitting the site to search engines or buying any sort of software program. Chances are good that the crawlers are already well aware of your site & your not showing up for a wide variety of potential reasons.

First are you in the index?

Check google.com by searching for site:yourwebsite.com - like this example:
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=site%3Amanta.com&aq=f&aqi=g6g-s1g3&oq=&fp=8ec9ea851cee2c5b

Do the same search on Yahoo site:www.yourdomain.com

Here is a good example of what NOT to do. Never ever ever ever ever submit your site to the search engines. Never ever ever pay someone to submit your site to the search engines. This is stupid and a waste of time. There are only 3 search engines that matter on the planet, Google, Yahoo, and now Bing. The rest get their info from them. If you focus on what Google wants, it will be automatic for the others. Build your page with good content and make sure you have meta tags. Next get some links to the home page and to your internal pages. The better the links, the faster Google comes to crawl your site. Crappy links= waiting, good links means Google or other spiders will come faster. If your site is brand new and you are starting from scratch, it will take a bit. If you know what your doing, it can go faster. There are bunch of other factors in the Google formula, you have to have an idea what to look for.

The SEO game is indeed a monster to wrestle.
One thing to know; the ppc click campaign will
do nothing for Natural or Organic listings.

I have found the good seo can't be beat...
Articles, Press Releases, Audios, Vidoes and Podcast.
..if done professionally. These need to be created and
submitted once per month for optimal results.

And, if done professionally, can produce amazing results
placing you on the Top of Page 1 of Google on
different keywords.

Make sure you Are using the correct keyword in
the site header. (Although, it is argued often how
many to use, we have found that up to 60 and as much
as 90 are okay.)

Also, I would set up a twitter.com account and "tweet"
about once per day. Although it is a simple micro-blog
and in and of itself doesn't accomplish much, the search bots
absolutely Love Twitter. (Your posts will get easy rankings.)

Next: and this is sort of important, Keyword Research.
This is a neat tool you can use free of charge.
www.freekeywords.wordtracker.com

(No one knows about this that one.)

The ideal criteria for keywords to be optimized is about
400 searches per day or less. I ususally try to stay with
keywords that are between 200 and 500 searches per day.

Hope this helps!
