I just started a new medical practice and requested my husband to setup the LLC. He setup the LLC on his name and got an EIN number, however he is not a physician. We later found out that in our state, non physician cannot own the medical practice, so my attorney filed the amendement and transferred the LLC from my husband to my name, however when we consulted our CPA, he suggested that we do not need to do anything and continue to use the same EIN which was tied to my husband's SSN?

Now I am completing the paperwork to accept Medicaid patients where they are asking the SSN tied to the EIN? I wan't to validate the guidance I got from my CPA. Please share your thoughts?
