Hi,

I just opened up a small one-room teaching studio, teaching music lessons. I will be the only person teaching there.

I need general liability insurance, and am a bit overwhelmed by the number of options I've found via google.

Can any other small business owners recommend insurance companies they have had good experiences with?

Thanks for your time.

One place to start might be with your local insurance agent who already handles some other insurance exposures for you--like auto or homeowners. A typical State Farm agent or American Family type agent could probably help you with this--the GL would be packaged into a multi-peril policy that also insured your property. These kinds of agents can often help a small business such as you are describing.
