I want to add that the type of paper matters also. The weight and texture will give people an impression almost as much as a nice design. I recently printed my cards on a paper with a nice texture and a beautiful color, and people are commenting when they get the card. I even picked up a project because a person like my card. Most of the times, a really nice paper is only a matter of a few dollars.

It is worth it to visit a local printer or paper company and touch and feel papers before you select them.
