Hi!

I'm using this book and I'm finding it very helpful for my Internet business: It involves time and effort to put into practice what it teaches so it's not a book for those who are afraid of hard work.

Check it out...I'm sure you will see the value in it for ways to use social marketing to promote your business.

Consumer health & beauty care is a pretty competitive market with a lot of well-capitalized big companies and brands. So unless you have a lot of money to advertise (print ads, online ads, Google AdWords etc.) then you need to consider other ways to get the message out about your products to get them noticed by consumers. Business owners should consider contributing articles and information of interest on their business niche or products topics to local papers, online magazines, blogs etc. Write reviews of your own products or make it an educational piece about how specific products you carry are a solution for a specific proble, or fit the consumer and specific favorable result. Getting the word out there on topics of interest to a consumers for specific product market or niche can catch the eye of customer prospects.

But before you start doing the above; you do need to sit down and come up with a marketing plan and way that you intend to approach promoting your business. I took a quick look at your site (from the link in your profile) and saw that Arbonne has what they call "Arbonne University" ... you may be using that resource now to help you learn more about your products and hopefully they include marketing tips for their consultants (like you). There may be a way to use some of the "product knowledge" that they impart to their consultants and use that as a basis for the promotional articles I mentioned above. You may want to discuss that with Arbonne to get their feedback on doing that.

I hope the above helps you with your business.

Good luck and best wishes,

You should use voice broadcasting to generate leads. By some health lists and do some mass voice broadcasting. I have been using it for a long time and having great success creating sales for all my businesses. To learn more check out www.qualityleadsasap.com

I came across this post and even though it was a while ago, maybe you have taken advantage of writing articles by now and have seen results. I think that is a great option for your industry. Also a great place to hit your target market that's not that expensive yet is to advertise on MySpace. I think you would do well there also.

I have been making great money from home for the past 7 years now. The SECRET is to leverage your time. You should be contacting business opportunity BUYERS and not seekers. Why speak with tire kickers when you can spend you time talking and finding laser targeted leads of opportunity buyers. I am talking about PRESENT DAY GENEALOGY lists. That is who you want to contact. You then want to use mass broadcasting strategies such as bulk emailing or voice broadcasting to do that.

To learn more about you can harvest unlimited leads for life and how the heavy hitters do it check out the webinar at www.yourinstantleads.com

It really is that simple using software to help you leverage your time.

Well you are going to need a website, so a good place to start (after you have a business plan) is to get yourself a website. I asusme that you have little to no skills in web design and development.

The best thing to do to get yourself a website is to find and hire a professional web design company to help get you up and going. KNR Designs would be a great place to get started on that. You can visit them at http://www.knrdesigns.com and they'll get started on helping you almost instantly.

Good luck with your business!

Ghostrider,

Do you own or work for this company? All of your post seem to be a reference for this company.

I may be the only one but I prefer dealing with people who are open about their associations with a company.

I'd have to agree that article marketing, although perceived as passe to many SEO hotshots, can bring huge, extremely targeted traffic to your website. I'm assuming you have a site to send people to, of course. http://www.ezinearticles.com is the most well-known site for article marketing and even has article marketing for newbies primers if you don't know the first thing about it.
