Hi Small Business Community,

I'm a business owner that helps businesses market their products and services to women. Many of you, as I have noticed through the threads, are looking for better ways to market your business and I want to improve my website to better serve business owners like you.

Please take my short 1 minute survey. You can find it at http://www.ratepoint.com/survey/8584ac4814e809f284c796531c9c4190.

The link does not take you to a survey.
It takes you to RatePoint's opening page.

Hi eveyone,

i'm not sure why the link isn't working. Please visit http://www.ladypr.com and on the right panel you can click the link "Business owner questionnaire" to complete the survey.

I greatly apologize for the hassel.

Hi Sherrell.

I just went through your survey and I'm not sure you're asking the questions necessary to get information you need to optimize your Website. It is important to understand why people are visiting your site, how their experience on the site was, how satisfied they were, and whether or not they would recommend the site to a friend or colleague. Also, a survey of this fashion is probably best designed as one that pops up as a visitor is about to leave the site.

Also, do you use any Web Analytics tools to measure traffic to your Website (visits, visit duration, page views, click-throughs)? Knowing how visitors interact with your site can give you good ideas into the changes you need to make.

Analysights helps companies like yours design effective survey questionnaires and analyze their Website traffic, I would be more than happy to help you out. Please contact me at:

I went to the website. You neglected to indicate where the survey was on your page, and since all I saw was squares and rectangles of confusing copy I could not find the surveyI am back at the forum asking if you could BE MORE SPECIFIC about the location of the survery since the page is visually confusing.

I took the survery thanks for designating the link location. The survey was not in depth at all. I am confused about how you go about doing what you do.

Your forum headline is Who are your greatest customers? Then you post links to confusing pages. Then there is a survey that only asks about target market (sort of). Are you interested in getting new customers? I am not sure if that is your goal or are you mining information?

I am one of the fortunate, even though we are small, scrabbly and poor we have in house design/copy and sales/marketing and an internet ISP owner that knows how to place website copy in search engines. I cannot imagine having to turn over this department to an outsider who does not know our business.

Thank you again Domain Diva for you helpful responses. The survey is really just about getting information from business owners on who their target consumers are and how they market their businesses.

Good luck with your business.

I do not think that your survey is in depth enough for you to get any good information from potential clients. The survey only asks a few NARROW questions and asks for feedback. How do you make business decisions based on that survey alone?

Information is crucial to any business, I don't see how this is helping you.

Again as I said, the goal isn't to gain customers with this survey. It's strictly informational for another project that I am working on. I don't need to disclose that to you. Thanks again for your opinions. It's helping me just fine.
