Yes I am on LinkedIn most days. I keep it running in the background and keep tabs on several Q&A categories that I'm interested in. If I can answer a question I try to as much as possible. (I now have two expert status ratings because of it). I am building my network slowly but surely by introducing myself and forming relationships both on LI and elsewhere. I have used it and belong to it as well. Having just joined recently, I am still learning the ropes. Good for finding people you know and starting to network with them.

Yes, i have been on LinkedIn for quite a while. I also had my son join and he has found it quite good for him. He has made a number of overseas contacts he needed for his business. Their are many very intelligent people on LinkedIn and the questions and answers are very informative.

If you use LinkedIn correctly, you will be able to build some nice alliances. My suggestion though about building your connections. I know many people like to have a million and one connections, some of which they will never use. Invite those to connect that share a cmmon interest. It will make your life easier.

LOVE IT! It is great for staying up to speed on what colleagues and acquaintances are doing professionally. I have also found it a helpful tool for promoting myself and business through recommendations.
