I love e-fax and don't know what I would do without it. I am a contractor and get contractors faxed to me everyday and hated the fact that I had to be home to get a fax. Now its a PDF in my inbox and I can print it if I want or just leave it in a file. Also while I in the field I can go on my wireless card and fax a client. Also I set up my email to text my cell phone when I get a fax. thumbs up for e-fax and thumbs down for old fax

I use pfax from Packetel to receive my faxes and a regular fax machine to send. All of my incoming faxes come to my email as pdfs. I have the header on the sending fax programmed to show the pfax number even though the land line will come up on caller ID when I send.

The pfax service is about $4 per month. I have had no issues.

Vanjuan,

Thanks for your advise, I think that e-fax has great features. I will look into it.

Hi Dublincpa,

Can you receive and send faxes through pfax as well? or just receive?

Just receive. It is perfect for me because my pages received vs pages sent is likely in the neighborhood of 1,000 to 1.

I have also used P fax for years, it totally rocks for $4 per mont. I would pay more if they raised the rates. It is a no brainer.

I'd like to cast one more vote for Packetel. At $4 a month, can't compare to ridiculous price
of ink and ribbon roll expense for old fashioned faxes. Plus, incoming faxes via Pfax via email are so much easier to read when printed out than incoming gobbly-gook that comes in over traditional fax. A real no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Hello everyone,

My e-fax is unlimited income and outgoing. My buddy told me about this company, they also have unlimited call all over US and Canada. I use it for my construction business. I pay $70.00 a month for a 800 number and a e-fax both unlimited plan. All my voice mail goes to my email or I can access them by phone. Fax alone is $25.00. they also have local numbers for $24.99 unlimited.

I can reffer you if you email me.

Thank you all for your responses.

I enrolled in the 30 day free trial for e-fax to see how it works. If is not a fit for me, I will definitely check all the ones you guys posted.

Again thanks :)

I send and receive faxes all the time and have yet to pay for the service! Goto http://fax.1888usa.com/ to send faxes. Most programs on there allow you to send up to 2 faxes per day, but you have several companies to choose from. Then go to www.k7.net to receive faxes for free with a free fax number. Its a Washington State area code, but hey its free!!
