My suggestion is to examine your goals. Is your main goal to only send advertisements? If so, I recommend www.constantcontact.com. If you are interested in an information website, we can help you. Please contact us at www.uoneu.com -- we have a special promotion going on tthat is definitely affordable to get your custom website up and running.

Mike,

You would be better off sending out a press release about your specials and that would get you the best results. Contact http://www.powerhuntersonline.com for press release services. we use them and they work great. Let them know Dreamsellers sent you.

Press releases will get you targetted traffic and also backlinks to your site.

I was not sure whether you were asking if you should advertise on someone else's website or ezine or if you should have your own.

This answer is based onyou having your own.

Ideally you will have a website (built using WordPress technology so you can easily update it yourself) with a newsletter sign up form in the template so that it is on each page of the site.

The newsletter or ezine sign up will integrate with ConstantContact, Aweber, iContact, GetResponse or any other of the purpose built email management programs

Create a free report or short course that can be delivered by email...this could be anything that your target marketing will perceive as having a high value and give it away when someone signs up.

Send out a monthly, biweekly or weekly newsletter with valuable information each time you send it. Suscribers usually don't stay on a list long if they receive one sales pitch after another.

Take the time to form a strategy re the structure of the newsletter template and the content.

How about a website where people can sign-up for your newsletter. Then you can collect people's info and create a database for marketing purposes. It is extremely important to use multiple tools in your marketing strategy. You have to ask yourself 'what am I trying to accomplish?' and 'how will my marketing tactics accomplish it?' I recommend http://www.TheBlueKingdom.com for online marketing tools and affordable web hosting for small business owners. Good Luck!
