Looking for 55k for a DVD Rental Business start up!!

Hi, I'm a young entrepreneur with alot of ambition and motivation. I have been doing a lot of research within the last year and found the DVD rental business to be a lucrative and booming business and I am wanting to take advantage of the right timing. I only have a couple thousand to invest of my own money and looking to finance the money needed. I need help finding capital. Any advice?

Are you buying into a franchise or starting your own business? I assume this is a brick and mortar store are will you have a website where you operate?

No this will not be a conventional brick and mortar store , it will be more of a home based business, i will have to dvd rental kiosk just like you see in walmart of mcdonalds and i will place them i high foot traffic areas so that costomers find it easy and convient to access . are you willing to invest?

Ok, I was just wondering because I know that Blockbuster and Hollywood Video (owned by Blockbuster) are struggling especially in this economy. They are getting hammered by Netflix and video on demand and are expected to file bankruptcy. Are you in an area with no other stores where you would have a monopoly?

What i am looking to do is place these machines in high foot traffic areas or appartment complex and universities to provide convenience. Would you rather get up put clothe on walk outside get in your car and drive to the nearest blockbuster store or would you rather get up get clothe on walk outside where there will be a local dvd rental kiosk and rent a movie for 1.99? These machines are the reasons that the brick and mortars like hollywood and blockbusters are bankrupt. I will make much profits from these. Are you willing you help?

Location will be key on this for you because there are already these in gas stations, Walmarts, colleges etc. I'm not sure if those places get a commission on what is rented or if they get paid per month to have them sitting there. I assume you would have to do the same thing in order to get these kiosks in good areas. How many do you get for the 55k?
