I have a great intrest in starting a special needs childcare center in Eau Claire WI I have many great ideas as a sick room and inservices for certain needs and care plans also case mangement. My background includes 12 years of medical expirence. I carry many licensures and have a child with tourrettes, ocd, odd, adhd and sensory issues so this is my inspiration for this great idea. I have watched my sons needs be neglected and not understood and i want to make a difference for many families and most of all have the compassion to back my business. Any advice would be helpful and appreciated where do I start? Thank You Lisa

Would suggest you organize as a non-profit 501(c)(3) - once complete - seek out private foundations who mission it is to help special needs kids and, if they have programs, apply for their grants.

special needs childcare in wisconsin, Welcome Lisa

Yes I understand. I am the Treasurer of an Independent Living Center in N Y.

You should start with a Business Plan (and yes I can help you with the plan).

You should also contact SCORE. SCORE is FREE and they can also help both in person and online.
