Let me see if I can answer a couple of questions here;
1st - validation. That would be a three step process. a) valid credit card or pay pal b) item being shipped c) three day business window for cancellation/return THEN the commission is paid.
2nd - how does ZILO (parent ZILO) get paid?
From the retailers based upon each sale....commission goes to parent first, parent keeps a portion then parent pays store holder. It is like having a paper catalog like SkyMall on American Airlines to read. There are many many vendors...if you go to the SKY MALL website you will see that's the construction of it as well. SKY MALL itself stores no merchandise...they are a distributor...which is what zilo is.
Zilo was actually on Amazon.com but got kicked off in May of 2007 because the ZILO biz model was the same as another Amazon application. Tech Crunch had an article about it around May 31.
It would help if things were explained. Using buzzwords like validation are confusing at best.
