Advertising for women's fashion website

I have a women's fashion website and with the economy right now sales have dropped and therefore I don't have the extra money to keep advertising my business. Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to get some free advertising or cheap advertising?

I have tried craigslist, fashion and vegan forums, and social networking. Some of them seem to bring people to the website but not purchasing from the website.
