Looking to get start up money for a Sports Bar in McAllen,TX

I am currently in the process of putting together a business plan for a new concept sports bar in Mcallen, Texas. I have horrible credit because of my younger years. I do have many interested investors but rather keep that to a minimum. Any suggestions??.. Please advice...

With bad credit - investors may be your only option. You could also look into a partner - someone who shares the risk and the rewards. Try to find someone that has good credit and possibly some experience.

Could also try to fix your credit - bring items current - consolidate debt - and rebuild.

Just some thoughts
