Oct 20, 2008 I am currently in the process of planning a business that has the potential to be a gold mine in my city. I am working with two other individuals that will be key components to the business but we do not have the funds to open. I am looking for a serious investor to talk with about my business. I have our business plan almost complete and the paperwork to apply for our LLC almost complete. We anticipate opening costs to be $400,000-$425,000 depending on the purchase of certain licenses. Most of the money will be backed by goods and inventory in the business. Opening a business is always risky but I think I have some corners on the market that will provide repeat weekly business in an expanding area of the sports market. We also have a key location in a busy and expanding commercial/retail and residential area with a college less than a mile away. Plus the impact fees have already been paid which will save us over $100,000 at this location.

Please reply if you are interested and we can go over specific details.

Thanks!

Do you have an email so that I can send you some information about what I want to accomplish? Where are you located? I am in Central Florida.

On two spearate occassions I left a reply on this site. Do you really want to be financed or are you just fishing. I am a serious private investor. If I like your project and the it makes sense you can be funded withing 30 days. Why haven't I heard from you.

It has been some time since your original posting - how have you faired? If you are still in the market - I would suggest you try local investors. They better understand your market and the need for your services plus- they can open many doors for you.

Talk to your chamber of commerce and ask about networking events. Attend those events and just start talking to people. Try to find CPAs, Lawyers, other business owners - if they don't invest - they are usually the gatekeepers for those who do. Try to get them to get you an introduction to local investors - most local investors would prefer to find a deal referred to them from someone they know and trust - then to just be cold called.

Hope you find the backing you need.
