I want to expand home inspection and thermal imaging service

I am finding it difficult to introduce my product and services to the real estate community and lending institutions. I understand most people work from a trust and referral-based relationship. I have been working for several clients since 2003. However the volume of a business needed to maintain essential operations is not in there. The in frequency of jobs related to my field is making it hard to be competitive and sustainable. I welcome any advice or assistance that may help me in advancing my marketing skills and placement within those two communities. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
