Does my friend need a business phone before applying for EIN

I am desperately trying to help a friend that is opening up her own bar and grill. She has the building and she has done her homework w/ getting a preinspection completed by DHEC and SLED but she is still in the dark on some other things. She doesnt have a tax Id number for the business yet and her someone told her she must have a business phone before getting this. I went on the IRS website to look at the instructions for an EIN and I dont see any information about needing a business phone before applying.
Am I correct on this??

The business address is required, but not a business telephone number. The applicant does have to provide a contact telephone number of some kind, but it can be a personal number.
