Sales Tax Rates on Clothing

I am starting an online based clothing company soon and I need to know the sales tax rates on clothes for every state within the U.S. Does anyone know where I can find this information?

BUT you need more info than the sales tax by State.

Many states like New York have different sales taxes by county.

If you Google "tax foundation.org sales tax table" you'll find them all listed. I'm curious as to why you need it, however -- if you're an on-line retailer, you generally only have to charge sales tax for items shipped within your own state, or to other states where your company has a physical business presence.

Oh ok I have been misinformed.... So shipping to other states besides my own has no sales tax fees?

Correct. Your profile says that you're in NJ. The applicable instructions can be found on your state's Division of Taxation website -- search there for "Bulletin S&U-5" for details.
