Be prepared for a LOT of competition and tight advertising budgets!

Right now, there are plenty of tourist and shopping guide magazines on the market and print advertising is down. To succeed in magazine publishing, you will need to demonstrate that your magazine has noticeable unique benefits that current tourist and shopping magazines lack. To lure advertising dollars, you will need to convince advertisers that your magazine has potential for steadily rising circulation.

I intend to start the distribution in Africa, what do you think? I am a Nigerian and base in Nigeria. I am workng on a magazine that will boost tourist attraction in Africa first.

I know there are plenty of them out there, it is as if you know more about publising a magazine,the way you put is exactly like that. And that is why I am still on the project so that it will attract advert when I am finally through. I intend to start my ciculation in Africa, to attract attention to our tourist site. What do you think?

The concept sounds interesting. The challenge is that you will find a lot of competition in metropolitan/touristic area.
You need to carefully study your market/competition/etc.

I like the idea and have helped many publishers with their printing and mailing costs. We have short run and long run capabilities.
