I am trying to start a home based business in medical billing and coding. I am looking to invest (but is a little expensive) in a company ABS which gives you the program and support to be able to do this and you go out and find doctors to outsource there billing to you. I am not really sure what I need to do as far as permits and everything for a home based business. Can anyone tell me what should be my first steps in trying to do this or good resources to put me in the right direction?

I am currently in NJ but my husband is in the military so we move around a lot. What exactly do you mean when you say SCORE? I am really looking to use my VA loan to do this since I am a veteran.
