I have an exsisting business that is in need of capitalization for growth/expansion. I have a weight loss treatment clinic that has been in operation for about 8 months. I am in need of some angel investment funding in order to grow. The clinic is located within a physician office and is part of my private psychotherapy practice which also focuses on weight issues (eating disorders etc.). I also have a TV show locally that is on regular broadcast TV (not public access) and has a following as well. Anyone have any ideas for capitalization? Thanks

YES I have ideas for capitalization.

I do NOT give out ideas unless I know who I am writing to. Go to Members page and share some info.

How much are you seeking? Have you thought about a local partner? I bet you have several people who watch your show that would be willing to help. Just be careful in publically asking for funding - follow the SEC guidelines.

Could also look for a SBA loan - talk to local banks (many banks) and ask then if they offer SBA programs and what the requirements are.

You can also search our database to find a lender that could help.

If your business accepts credit card or electronic check payment, you can probably easily qualify for an advance on your receivables.. If not, I have a few sources offering other options I would be happy to share with you. Please respond with your contact email or phone if interested. Good luck.

It sounds like you have an asset and that asset is generating income. Luckily you have many options for funding that might be available to you. Check out my profile and call me and we can discuss possibilities.
