Hope this email fines you well. Throughout American history, the small business owner has been the backbone of the economy. This will likely continue. However, a large number (some have estimated that well over 90%) of new startups will be out of business in five years or less. With just $1,000 you certainly do not want to take unnecessary risks. In so far as MLM is concerned, its reputation as somewhat undesirable is frankly correct. However, as an earlier writer noted, not all are bad and it really depends mostly on who is helping you. If you would like to get more information without any obligation then I suggest you look into GrayFoxConsulting.net and take their free training course.

As a retired CPA I can assure you that an accounting practice is not difficult or expensive to start but you must accept two things. One, you will have to market and sell accounting and tax services. Two, you must accept that taxes are a large part of the accounting profession, especially for a sole practitioner.

Best of luck

I was you about 8 months ago. I now own a successful, legitimate, home based business and I will give you information at the
end of this reply. It took me a while and money to find out as you probably know by know, there are alot of scams out there attached to no legitamate product, company, marketing method or support once you "join" and there were the times, after paying something, I never heard from those people again. However, I've noticed one of the problem with home
based businesses, is they just don't give you the facts up front. Now
that I'm on the other side of a legitimate business, I have begun to see why a little bit. If
you are a legitimate business, you want serious people. It helps weed
out the people who are not serious about hard work and think they are
going to get rich overnight. Any company that tells you that is a scam.
I have learned it takes some money to make money, whether it be a little or
alot. The only asset you need is a real desire to be successful and
understand there are sacrifices to make, like hard work and time to get there.
Home Based Businesses are still businesses. FACT: Businesses
have overhead. Office supplies, internet, maybe website, maybe credit
card processing, advetising, maybe inventory, depending on your business, etc..Home based businesses just have much less than lets say a local or national franchise would that has a free standing store. A good
company will offer many advertising methods, both low cost and higher
quality to accomodate the part-timer and the full timer, and both the
person with very little money to spend and ones that are looking to
invest more to make more quicker. If your not willing to spend
any money, even $100 you do NOT want a home business, you want a job,
so then you need to go get a job. If you truly have the soul of an
entreprenuer, even if you have no professional skills, you can easily
achieve success through a home based business. If your interested in
that kind of mentality and ingretity, visit my website;
www.health4work.com, put your contact information in and I will give
you information up front and always be upfront with you! Good Luck!

It fits everyone's need and more. We have the tools, team, and will teach you all you need to know. The management team is involved and always available. It is a mlm... which thrives in this days economic situation. contact me @ jhenery7@aol.com

I'm sure there have been many, many suggestions made here. What I know is that every small business, MLM, affilate program or internet program is NOT for everyone.

I know. I've done a lot (as I posted here before) to help people start low or no cost businesses from their homes online. We did a whole project with a group of people, where we helped them start making money online that would be residual and they could sell or promote whatever was in alignment with them.

We just gave them the no and low cost ways to start & all the help they could need from people who had actually made money, NOT who were just starting out on their own.

AND NO, we didn't charge anything extra for that, it was all part of it. Some are still making multiple streams of small income online that add up to a car payment, house payment or their spouse's salary so one person could now stay home with their kids. That was our purpose.

Here is the site: http://www.your-multiple-income-streams.com

Good luck. I hope everyone finds something that works for them.

I hate to say this but BEWARE of the sharks! That is exactly my background too! Business Administration comes in as a skill set with my home based business but is not necessary. There are guidelines about what we can and cannot post on here. Please e-mail me your same topic at lynda_barton0154@yahoo.com and I will send you back and email with detail and much more info than any on-line Home Based Business out there. If you go out lookng on the internet, you'll end up with lots of SPAM, you might already know that, lol! Drop me a quick line!

Home base bussiness is very good. its provide earning at your home.

A business was something which was run from an office and with a fairly huge investment but today there are free home based businesses which do not need any investment. Internet has brought business into our homes and we can indulge in many different kinds of trade at a single point which is our computer. One such business is the stock exchange which earlier needed people to visit stock exchanges and do trade here in stocks and shares. However, now you can buy and sell shares from the comfort of your home with the stocks being handled via the internet. Many people dabble in this home base business opportunity and make a lot of money fast.

Stock brokers can be communicated with online and shares can be bought and sold online there is no need to move from your couch in front of your computer and you can invest, buy and sell online. This is one of the best ideas for home based businesses. You can start with a small investment in stocks and shares initially and as you learn the trade and are more confident about it you can increase your investment and bring in greater profits.

Hello minalegend

Looks like you have lots of great answers. A suggestion on MLM, stay away! Most are bad and all eat up your time. It takes a lot of dedication and sales to be successful. You don't want that distracting you from school. But if I ever was in college again, I'd start a t-shirt business. I have a couple of friends who sold t-shirts throughout college. It helped pay for their tuitions. One sold during football games. At $10 a pop, it went in a matter of days. Depending on the graphics of the shirt and how big the game was, it can sell out as fast as in a day.

Another friend started making t-shirts as a favor for his gf who belong to a social club at school. Then word got out that he was the t-shirt guy. He started getting orders for shirts from all different the clubs. He then marketing his services to other schools. Pretty soon, he was getting $24k a year working part time. He carried no inventory. Just took orders, picked up and delivered the shirts. Not bad for part time work. I think he could have easily gone national but guess he had other priorities.

The success factor here is finding a good low cost printer. Then you can make flyers, open up a website to take orders. Selling to the student body is the easiest.

Good luck in school!

I agree with those that are saying that MLM opportunities are not the thing to get into. I do however recommend looking into internet marketing especially since you are already good with computers. Just research it well before you jump into anything and ask a lot of questions from people who know what they are talking about. One of my main goals is to keep people informed of the right way to get into this kind of business you can get overwhelmed and lost really easily.
