Advantages of buying a seasoned LLC

Hello all,
I would like to open a small pizzeria in Las Vegas. I have over 15 years of mgt experience, not in the restaurant business. I have done what I believe to be an extensive amount of research, have settled on the concept, developed a business plan and am investigating options to purchase.
I am new to the forum and looking for some answers.... In my area there seem to be several LLC's advertised for sale. Some stating never been used but seasoned. Can anyone enlighten me to the value if any of purchasing a seasoned LLC? Would this allow for more favorable financing options?

Any feed back to the pros or cons of this would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few more questions that came to mind.

  • Tax benefits/consquences?
  • Financing options in relation to a new company?
  • Insurance costs?
  • Merchant services?
  • Negotiating accounts with distibutors?
