Good day all,

I have been interested in security investment for long time. I have used my own money to trade on the markets for years. I have developed a strategy that has been proven working with steady return range from 2% to 9% each month. I made more than 10% profits last year while most of the hedge funds lost their money. You can check my trading records at http://www.pancoo.com/TradeRecords.aspx. Now, I am considering to starting a hedge fund myself. I knew, there are 2 prerequisites for starting a hedge fund: 1. a proven strategy with tracking record which I have; 2. Good connections for raising money which I need your hand. I am looking for business partners who have good connections and can bring money to the fund. Anyone who is interested in this, please send email to danyu68@yahoo.com. Any suggestion or advises is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Dan

SInce the link does not work we can only assume....nothing. Bernie Madoff had consistent returns as well. The one prerequsite you forget is LICENSING.....

You can't start a hedge fund wihtout proper licensing (for all the good that will do). Do you have NASD Certification? A Series 7 license?

No?

Then you want money from the forum members?

Rethink.

DomainDiva, thank you for your reply. You are right. LICENSING is one of the prerequisite to start a hedge fund. I haven't started the hedge fund yet. Although I am good at trading, I understand that I can't do it alone. I need partners who interested in this business to work together with me to raise money in the future. The main purpose of my post is looking for partners to work in a team to start a hedge fund together. After I build the team, the next step is to get all of the paperwork done. You and the members on this forum are welcome to invest in my fund in the future.

DomainDiva, I visited your website. It is great. I tried your link first, it didn't work. Then I copied the url and pasted it into the Address of the Browser. It worked. If you are interested in my trading records, you can do it the same way. It should work. Thank you.

NassGG, Hedge fund generally pools investor's money together to trade securities such as stocks, commodities or Foreign Exchange and etc. Its income comes from management fees (normally 2% of the managed fund each year) and performance fees (normally 20% of the profits made through investment). The minimum money required to start a hedge fund is 1 million dollar.

Take my strategy as an example, it usually generates 50% or more return in the normal year. Suppose we have a 5 million dollar fund which is a very very small fund in the hedge fund industry (a 100 million fund is still a small fund). The gross investment profits should be about $2,500,000. The performance fees should be about $500,000; The management fees should be about 100,000 (management fees).
