Retail Manufacturer Info, anyone?

Hello everyone!

My name is Amanda Cantrell and today is my first day joining the SBCommunity and I'm sooo very excitied! I recently turned 21yrs old and I've decided its now or never to go for my dreams. I am a Fashion Designer and I am starting my own clothing line called Amanda Cantrell Design. For my Bio on the business you can view my profile.

I am currently having the garment samples made for my Fall 2009 collection, but once the samples are made I will need to find a manufacturer. Most of the companies I've researched are Oversea Companies and I am looking for USA based manufacturers close to TN which near to impossible it seems. Can anyone help me with some advice on how to find a relatively close Retail Manufacturer ?

Welcome to the community, Amanda. I'm not sure about TN -- but you should be able to find a factory in VA or the Carolinas. Most U.S. clothing manufacturers specialize in particular categories (e.g., dresses, mens casual wear, t-shirts, etc.) or in particular fabrics/materials -- so you may have to broaden your search or contract with more than one to get what you need. Thank you so much for the reply. I will look into the recommended site. I was trying to find a manufacturer that does everything but I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too, right, haha.

You can get mentoring from a successful business expert. You can review their
backgrounds and pick 2 or 3 counselors and ask them questions.
