In-home vs Assisted Living Senior Care Franchise

Hi all. I'm considering buying into one of two franchise concepts serving the senior market. The first business model requires the hiring and management of caregivers who provide in-home services. Clients are billed directly. The second business model requires that I contract with assisted living facilities and act as a matchmaker for seniors requiring their use. In this instance I'm paid by the facility.

Does anyone have experience with a particular franchisor in this segment? From what I can tell the franchisee fees and advertised corporate support are similar.

I am starting a national franchise for assisted living like the one you are talking about. I think you should speak to me. I used to work for the franchise you are most likely talking about. Please go to www.carepatrol.com and you won't be disappointed. We will begin sales in the middle of February. I have run both kind of companies and have done assisted living placement for over 14 years, I would speak to EVERY FRANCHISEE that you possibly can before you buy. Any franchisor that doesn't let you or want to speak with the majority of the franchisees should be avoided.

of course I always prefer to assisted living because in assisted living person has not any generation gap. so person can live happy in assisted living.
