Has anyone tried this service? Right now we use ADP, and Quickbooks for recordkeeping. Is the BofA service easy, and compatible with QuickBooks?

Hi CampJames -

I am using BOA payroll services. I have quickbook online. BOA payroll and employee tax I export over the net to my quick book online. Also you can transfer your transaction easily from BOA to quickbook. Also I use there services to pay vendor online. Hassle free.

Excellent service and very easy. I pay BOA 10/15 dollar for this.

Has anyone tried the payroll service thru Bank of America, Welcome Cathy

No I have not tried B of A Payroll Service. Using ADP is like the Cadillac of payroll services.

How many people do you have on payroll and how often do you pay them??

Pay your employees bi weekly, you can save money (the payroll service charges by the number of checks)

Hope this helps, LUCKIEST

How did you sign up for the payroll services thru BOA? Did you have a bank representative help you or did you just go thru BOA website, and if so is it fairly self explainitory?

I have payroll thru BOA. Great service.

You can subscribe online. You will need a business account and business suite. There is usually a link that you can click.

The prompts are self explanatory.

The service is free if all employees have direct deposit with BOA. All forms can also be filed electronically as well as paid electronically. It allows for deductions, reimbursements and sick and vacation accruals. Really a great service overall.

Enjoy

I am new user of BOA payroll. Here are my observations.

While all the features are great, BOA Payroll will only pay state taxes for one (primary) state. The service will calculate taxes for multiple locations/states. There is a charge for setting up multiple locations and then it will not pay the additional states. You have to make your own arrangements to pay these additional states. I find this frustrating.
