I'm saying post a link but give me a reason to go to it. Provide me with some meat so that I know that my efforts are worth it. Talk to me, not at me. You ask me for my attention, but then you didn't say anything - you sent me to a website. How do I know where I am going or what is going to be there?

I do advertising for a living and you can call me an elitist but this is not advertising. Posting a link should never take the place of providing people with a reason to respond. All I am saying is lead with a little information.

I see your point. Due to so much info on this site and the Internet in general, I try to "make it short." This information highway has created short attention spans, so people will only read a little bit of information. Also, there is a person on this site, talking to you and providing information. Maybe so but I am on this site. Talk to me here before I go somewhere for you. This forum is filled with people who read and participate like we are doing right now. You don't have to write a book but you do need to build some trust before I blindly do anything for you.

Mettler...you are not paying attention IWrite. He is trying to HELP YOU HERE. IWrite is trying to help you think about marketing your service. Tossing out links on forums an expecting people to go there just because you said to is not marketing and is not the way to present your business to a business community.

Then do not expect people to pay any attention to your marketing or advertising. You may want to consider prioritizing your life or work in order to do a better job of presenting your business.
