Hello Everyone,

I'm goning to be doing wine tasting's at my store. Any fun ideas or themes that I can do with my wine tastings so that it won't be the old boring cheese & crakers kinda thing.

Any Ideas, YES Welcome

What kind of store?? Do you sell wine??

If I was having a wine tasting I would think outside the box. Are there any restaurants in your area who would like to offer samples of their specialities?? Like an Italian Restaurant will give out sample of pizza or meatballs.
Hor-devours, Dips, Veggies and Crudities are all different.
Costco has many side dishes that do with wine.

When is the event?? and are we invited?? LUCKIEST

ARE YOU FOR REAL?!!! NO GO FOR THE OLD, aye, there's the gold!.... i would decorate my place to look like an english or french pub from the 1700's and have your staff wear costumes and pirate costumes and talk old english. It will be fun for your staff and for your clients.

DRESS IT UP!!! ITS HALLOWEEN IN JANUARY!

I like the idea of pairing them with foods that compliments them. Get a couple of local chefs to put on a demo like a mini Emeril. Even encourage people to suggest dishes or share recipes. Maybe, build a customer recipe book that everyone who contributes to can get free and customers can buy.

I also like the recipe book suggestion. I'm going to look at my option because I'm not a big store, only 1400 sq ftt and I carry only a small line of imported wines.

You can also match themes (decorations or food) with the region of the wine - thus, will be different each time and keep people coming back.
