Say what you will, however I drive about 100 visits per day from Twitter alone. Not sure if it makes sense or not....really dont care but I like it and it is fun to see what people and friends are up to!! If you do not like it than that is fine, you might like www.squidoo.com or www.thewozone.com or www.chatterbox.com I guess the point of social blogging is all about what you like to do, but I can tell you this that the day and age of online SPAMing is a dead practice and you will get a better response if you show some character!!!

One thing about Twitter is you can spur a conversation just like the one here about Do you Twitter? Companies like Pepsi could pose a question like What do you think of our New Label designs? And they can get instant feedback from their customers. I talk about Twitter Briefly in my article "Using Blogs and Social Networks to Grow Your Business Online" http://www.scribd.com/doc/8307438/Using-Blogs-and-Social-Networks-to-Grow-Your-Business-Online since I wrote the article I found the only way to figure out Twitter is to use it. and follow me @ http://twitter.com/David_GBG

Yes I twitter - and I love it. I highly recommend using Twitter for business.

When you start with Twitter check out the twitter search (you will find it on the very bottom of their website) seek for topics you are interested (your profession, a specific company you work in, the name of your competitors, your region... just click on follow the twitterer.

Like in all social networks - you only get something out of it, if you put something into it. Add your comments, stay focused on informed opinions, without marketing BS. This will grow the number of people which follow you.

Twitter is one more easy and great tool in the big new social media space which connects you with your business friends, prospects, customers in realtime.

Liz Strauss posted on her blog about how to twitter if your goal is social networking and conversation.

I think it is very helpful.

I started to twitter a week or so ago. Check me out twitter.com/keyaudioads

Twittering is great for marketing as you can connect with people at home and while they're on the move - direct to their cellphone

I just signed up on this forum today, and it seems to be a really great place.

tropicalteaco got some good points there.

I also have a twitter account but sometimes I forget to log in. Twitter is like a mini blog that instead of everyday updates you do it every hour or so.

Yes, Twitter is a great way to stay up to date with clients, friends, and family. Great marketing tool, very simple compared to other social networking sites. A prime example of how Web 2.0 is changing the way we communicate. Check out The BLÜ Group - Advertising & Marketing at http://twitter.com/TheBLUGroup.

Good Luck,
