Why do some posts last 2 weeks then disappear while others last 2 minutes. Is their a moderator or someone just sabotaging my posts?

Good question! The contribution list shows only 5 posts by you, your profile shows 26 posts, and the board shows that you have 170 points from posts (which would be impossible, even if every post was marked as a "correct" 5-point response). Don't feel singled out, though -- over the past year, roughly one out of every eight of my posts has vanished.

I would not worry to much about it, but I do understand your frustration.

I hope that you are able to post easier from today going forward.

That must be very frustrating. I have not noticed any of my posts disappearing but I wondered if anyone knew of a way to upload one's own avatar here? I have done a couple of story compliments and they did not show up on my profile?

You cannot upload your own personal avatar.

My posts were deleted all the time when I first joined the community.

I was frustrated because I got attacked on many levels by some members of the community, and was responding in a negative fashion.

Oh well such is life.

Another point of interest that I would like to share.

On a regular basis, I recieve a message stating: "Your message will have to be approved by a moderator before it is posted".

I am not sure as to why, but it is quite annoying, I am only posting my viewpoint.

Are you posting different messages or the same message in different areas? It makes a difference. Members or moderators may be marking your post inappropriate because it appears to be spam. You only need to post a message once for everyone to see it. Posting the same messages in multiple places can and will get you deleted.

The moderators can also deem the content of your post to inappropriate and remove it. Look at your message and see if it violates any of the rules for this forum.

This is not a personal thing by the moderators, they are only doing their job. I only wish they would communicate with individuals when they remove something so that it reduces the confusion and misperception being spread by some members on this board.

I`ve had the same problem. I`ve been asking for help on my business plan to see what I`ve missed in what I`ve gotten done and that post never showed up along with a few others asking for help as well over the course of 2 years. Is it bad to ask for help on business plans? Do I have to have one completed to post here or what?

I have the same problem. I published a few days ago a new topic and it does not appear until now. When I go to my profile tab in the theme, followed by looking at e-mail, it appears there, but when they click on it, there is empty. how to solve this problem? I posted it again, but the result is no
