Maddeb, I checked your profile before posting. WOW. You are my new hero. It's great to see another she-male (as my angel investor calls us) making her place in a mans world. Welcome to the board, I am sure you have some great experience and advice to share with us!

thanks for the kind words..
yes, I definately do work in a mans world and it is tough. But you have to be tough back, in order to make it, or they'l just eat you up and spit you out.

I look forward to continued coorespondance, and listening to your wise and helpful advice. I really do need help/good advice in this economy, as things just keep getting tougher. and I found a place where i can get it from a select few.

Did any of you get my email I sent, asking for advice? I didnt want to post it here on the forums, as I included alot of personal info. But I was hoping for some positive feedback, or negative if appropriate for my situation. You can email me or post your feedback here. I'm just not finding a whole lot of avenues that are available to me, and I'm reaching out every where.

Anyways, keep up the good efforts, in stearing people in the right direction. Can you please give me some good advise too?

Maddeb, the question above was posted as a reponse to yourself. Just to clarify, were you addressing it to Diva (i.e., are you asking her if she received your e-mail)?

Maddeb,

Perhaps if you eliminate some of the personal information, you could post for all to see. You would have a larger audience addressing your problems. This could generate more possible solutions.

Hello,
Recently there was an execution style shooting of 4 people in my town because someone interviened between to strangers arguing. I believe that you should never interviene like that , stand up for what you believe in but at a distance and call the police. After all You do not get paid what they do to keep your ommunity safe. Thanks For Listening

First of all, going back to the original thought.

Lighthouse - thanks for being someone who tries to think of the good of the community. I think the right thing to do is for all of us to look out for each other. I think if we see free offers and get rich quick offers, small business owners need to be sophisticated buyers. I don't think the moderators should be tasked with researching each post to determine whether or not the marketing message is true. After all, that could be a slippery slope. If someone says that there service is 'the best', should the moderators pull it if they determine the claim is not supported.

So, my thought would be - everyone be wary of crazy ads on this and other sites, secondly, let's not respond to those who post crap - after all, the best way to let a post go unnoticed is if no one responds to it, finally, if you do due diligence on a post and find something alarming - put up a separate post warning others.

I think you did the community a good turn by researchin it and raising the issue
