Hi, We have a business plan ready and the business is Asia. Business is Medical Device Contract Manufacturing. I was wondering if I can get the investment from USA. Can somebody put some light on how to proceed further with this plan ? Everything is ready except we need somebody to invest.

Thanks

Hello! Welcome to the forum! Are you looking for a loan or are you looking for venture capital? Is this a business idea - - that needs funding, or are you already operating and need more cash infusion? There are many U.S. based venture capital firms that focus on investing in new or existing companies with a focus on medical devices/bio tech industry. However, it's highly competitive.

Thanks Techie,
This is a business idea that needs funding. The medical device sector we are planning to start up is first of its kind in country so ROI should not be a problem. The only problem is funding, does not matter how it comes in -Loan or VC. I want to know the normal procedure to proceed further. Budget is about $1M and we would be able to put about 5 % as down. We have been struggling to manage the funding. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, We have cost/profit sheets ready and depending on the size of the contract, Repayment plan would be ready too. I don't know how you want to see the business plan. In Person, email ? What are other options ? What else does one want to see in business plan ? Also planning to start the phase one within a month, that is buying land in economic zones and start building a plan for plant.

Hi there!

1) Check out this great article by Forbes magazine (it's a leading American business magazine) and highlights the best VCs in the U.S. These are the best/most reputable U.S. based VC firms:

2) I also found this medical device specific venture capital website. You should check this out. I can't vouch for the legitimacy or reputation for these firms though as it's such industry specific.

Good luck contacting them with your business plan! I wish you the best.
