How to market a new skin care product?

I just got my reseller's permit. Planning to start selling a new skin care product without a brand. However, the skin products have been out there for over 40 years. My price is much cheaper that branded skin care products. Any good suggestion on selling the products?

Have you contacted any small boutique clothing stores to see if they would be willing to 'private label' ?

No, I haven't contacted any company. I just started to sell to friends and family. Most of them like the products.

Good luck. Tell us more. You need to Develop a BUSINESS and MARKETING Plan.
How and why did you get involved in this skin care product??
Are you going to advertise and how?? How about skin care PARTIES??

I am liscensed Esthetician. Thinking of openning up my own line of skin care business. I have my website, working on it now. I am also thinking of passing out flyers and posters. Any other suggestion to get more people try out the products?

That's a great idea, welcome to the skin care products club :-)

What kind of products do you sell?
Are you specialize in something in particular?

I think you know it's a huge and very competitive market.

Please tell us more about what you are planning to sell, perhaps I can give you some tips.

One idea can be to contact your local gym - get a table there bring some health cookies and explain about the product ( make sure to collect the data base and follow up with an email .)

Also use this is coming holiday to prompt your product as the ideal gift.

I have skin care products like cleanser, toner, loton , masque and etc. They have different line for different type of skins. I am a new licensed Esthetician. Any suggestion is would be appreciated. Thanks.

Samples. Samples. Samples. That's how I got hooked on a new Seriesse Skin Care system called S.I. Uplift. I was faithful and devoted to certain brands, but the samples allowed me to "try" and I became another customer for an additional line!

Hello my name is Rupen Shah, we just funded a Cosmetic Firm. We got her placement capital so she was able to secure orders at 260 Wal-Marts and now 6 other major retailers. We will in essence take her existing firm doing $1.4 million in sales to a $7million company by Dec2008.
