I need advice on what direction to go to get a loan for a start up business. I have a passion for making cookies, cakes, pies and pastries and I want to share it by creating a business. Thank you

Tell me more. Who are you?? Where are you?? Go to Members Page and add some info.

If I needed advice on what direction to go I would do two things.

One, Develop a Business Plan, Two, Visit SCORE. SCORE is FREE.

I am in Fort Mill, SC which is a suburb of Charlotte, NC. We have a little Long Island here and I know that everyone would buy my Italian pastries, cookies, cakes and pies. I have owned and operated 2 businesses through out my life but now I am working a job that I enjoy but I have a passion about creating treats that people would love and I can make money doing it. I don't have a business plan yet but I will put one together. With the economy the way it is I wanted to find out if there is even an opportunity out there that I can get money for a new business.
