I want to register a buisness name but am not sure if a LLC or Inc would be appropriate.

This company will not have employes.

Would I be able to originate the llc with a seperate tax id? And if so would i then be able to pay myself as a private contractor?

Talk to my lawyer accountant.... how is that an answer?

This is a simple question can you or can you not register an llc with a seperate tax id, and have that act as a seperate entity from your personal self.

To the best of my knowledge you and the LLC are completely seperate entities as far as the law is concerned.

There seems to be lots of information at <a href="http://www.legalzoom.com/llc-guide/limited-liability-company-edu-center.html"> Legal Zoom </a>.

A single-owner LLC with no employees does not need a separate tax ID. If it has multiple owners or has employees, then it does.
