Running a private school

After several years of trying to find my "calling", I've decided on a private school. Here in Dallas,TX the public schools don't seem to be cutting it. Elementary schools maybe, but after that it seems to be going down hill. I'm not sure if its the parents or the schools, but I'd like to think my school will make a difference. I am on a search for grants, funding, and any other helpful information. How does one sustain monetary and charitable gifts to help keep the school running, with no help from the state? Any advice, suggestions, and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Running a private school. Welcome

If I was to find my "calling" and decided on a private school, I would do the following:

Develop a Business and marketing Plan

Retain a Lawyer, an Accountant and an Insurance Agent.

Visit SCORE. SCORE is FREE both in person and online and can help you search for grants.

Good luck, LUCKIEST
