All our transactions to date have been authorized via telephone, but now we wish to add a cart to our website. Problem is our web folks can not work with CyberSource. I hope there is someone who can tell me who else we can use as a gateway with out B of A merchant account.

Bof A should have some sort of technical support that can help you with this problem. Have you contacted them yet?

Yes, but still no solution. The "tech" help did resolve my issue. I have had a B of A merchant account for 20+ years, and have been also paying for CyberSource gateway services, but the company servers that host my site can not use ANY listed shopping carts listed at CyberSource.

Hello Howitsdone. Did we just have a phone conversation about 10 minutes ago?. If not, you have a clone out there---the subject matter of a gentlemen to just called me was identical to the issue of your post.

Anyway, I have figured out the root cause of your dilemma. Cybersource and Authorize.net are divisions of the same company. As their website clearly states, Cybersource is for medium and very large sized companies. Authorize.net is for small businesses, under $3M per year. If you're using Cybersource as a gateway provider and you're a small business, then you're going rabbit hunting with a howitzer. That's why your small business web hoster and your small business merchant account provider (B of A) don't know what to make of it, they're way out of their element..

Sounds to me like you need to be on Authorize.net, not Cybersource. Please contact me for wholesale pricing if needed; they only sell via resellers of which we are one. Normal pricing $149 setup $20 month, $.10 per item...as mentioned, we can discount depending on number of factors. Drop me a line or call.
Thanx, good luck.

hi howitsdone,

Since you are a merchant of B of A, you can request them to switch your gateway from CyberSource to Authorize.net. Any cart system can integrate with Authorize.net. Your web guy should be able to integrate it in any platform and programming language. If you need help you can contact me at manny@xweavers.com for adding a cart system or integration with authorize.net. Hope I helped. Thanks!
