hi Dennis, congrats on the site, I really like it. Please note the following issues:

your images (located in body of pages) are not optimized and are above 72 DPI, this is why your pages are so slow
the font color you use in body looks home made, not bad, but not professional, stay consistent with all pages and only use black or white color for text.

This is a good place to start, if you need anything else let me know.

by the way, what cms did you guys use to build the website? wordpress? do you have a admin login?

Yes, this is a wordpress site-- you can probably tell from the code.
Wordpress, done right, is great for SEO.
This client is already generating most of their traffic from natural search--
on a combination of brand and geo-modified terms (their city + bar, restaurant, nightlife, etc..)

I like it. I think the site its very nice. Its very easy to navigate and nice to look at, very appealing to a college student in the area.
