I have been running a fitness center for about 10 years now. For years I have been recommending health supplements for those who are really serious about building their muscle mass. I've seen only good results. From years of experience in fitness, body building and how different supplements work in different people, I want to come out with a line of health products that I can totally rely on. I've had some awful experiences with products that don't live up to their labels, so you don't see the desired effect. Or I'd like to put a combination of nutrition together that I know would mximize body building results. I'm pretty sure about the line of products that I want to start. I need help in reliable manufacturing units, label design, advertising and marketing. Any suggestions?

Contact Trilogy. This company just merged with another group. The skin care and nutritionals are superior. Email me and I will give you the website and some contact names.

If you're looking for help in manufacturing your line of health supplements, a good contract manufacturer will work well for you. They are equipped to help you with label design and marketing. Some of them even fulfill mail orders for you. Make sure you find one that is adhering to GMPs and has a tight watch over quality control. Let me know if you'd like some suggestions.

Hi Aaron
- I haven't heard from you but if you're still interested I still think the
best way to go is a contract manufacturer - especially if you are new to the
business. Flex_00 might want to
investigate this avenue as well.

Thanks guys, for helping me out. I have been studying a few contract manufacturers which fit what I'm looking for. I'm high on quality and prefer a contract manufacturer who has been GMP certified for a while now and is FDA compliant. They should be able to manufacture a wide variety of products like joint pain relievers, creatine supplements, protein and energy drinks, etc. I'd also like to be able to visit the facility initially and see their setup. Nutricap Labs is one company I'm looking at. According to their site, they were one of the first contract manufacturers to GMP certified, they have a good reputation, and they're able to do small production runs for me. They also offer warehousing and take care of order fulfillment at a reasonable price. I figure that would work out cheaper for me than hiring my own manpower and storage space for this. Can anyone offer any guidance on this? If you have any information about Nutricap Labs, or any other good contract manufacturer, please let me know.

Glad that you are on the right track - for other looking to start their own business - you can find very good information here. Also check out SCORE (score.org) - here you can find a counselor - either in person or online - who has experience in the industry you are considering. Thus, they know the ins and outs. You can also try your local Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - they can help with planning, marketing, etc. Both are free and designed to help you succeed.

DomainDiva, I did not get any information on Trilogy as their site does not open. In the meanwhile, I received a few quotes from Nutricap Labs for the products I want to manufacture. They have given me some pretty convincing quotes which I am still studying and comparing with other quotes I have received from 3 other manufacturers. However, at this stage, I'm more inclined to go with Nutricap Labs since they are GMP-certified, have a good track record and provide extra services like logo and label designing. It helps to have all this under one roof. Could anyone offer any advice?

I've looked at more than 25 private label manufacturers. A few of the quotes I received were really cheap, but their company was not GMP, QAI or USDA Organic Certified. I do need this as I want to produce quality products that really work. In fact, I have been doing a lot of research myself about herbs and nutrients, as well as studying the market for these products. A unique advantage with Nutricap Labs is the assistance of their research team, and a team of doctors and experts in the field of nutraceuticals.

While my preference at this stage is Nutricap Labs, I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who had had experience working with them. Thanks, guys.

I have been looking for a good contract manufacturer and have short listed a few. The company at the top of my list is Nutricap Labs - they seem to have everything I'm looking for. A fully equipped research lab using advanced technology. A design team to create and design labels for effective branding. A storage house and in-house drop shipping services. That seems like a great idea because then, I don't have to hire extra staff to handle orders and can save money on storage space. Their prices are reasonable, too. I can't wait to get started. But I am looking into the other companies I've short listed as well so that I do a thorough search before making any final decision. Any suggestions from you would be very helpful. Thanks, guys!

Bing.com had pages and pages on this company. Somewhere in all the links there are reviews and people you can contact for references.

I've narrowed by choices down to 3 companies, guys. I heard back from Nutricap first and they also happened to give me the lowest quote. I called the guys up a few days ago. They were really helpful in giving me the information I wanted. They offered some good suggestions as well. The guy told me that their state-of-the-art machinery can handle small or bulk orders. He explained the whole process to me over the phone and I appreciated him taking the time to do that. This was a big change compared to some of the other companies I've spoken to over the phone. The sales rep I spoke to also told me that they were recently named the 3rd fastest growing private company in the health industry. I feel more confident about them, but am still interested in hearing from anybody who has any knowledge of working with them first hand.
