How do I get investors??

HI All,

I am starting this new business and I want to raise some money to start it. The banks wont finance it unless I build some equity.

Can you give me some ideas in how to get a new business financed by investors and any other way that you know. Please let me know.

Be very careful in your search for investors. If you are approached by someone who asks for money up front don't even bother unless you know them or can verify them or their company completely. My company was ripped off by a company that said they were a broker who would be the go between with an investor. All they did was jerk me around and kept the money. I am presently seeking legal action against this person for fraud.

Angel investors typically make investment decisions
regarding startups without paying others to manage their money.
Therefore, the return on their investment usually won't involve paying
any intermediaries. This can make a startup investment more attractive
than alternative high-risk investments that usually involve paying a
broker, money manager or another financial intermediary.
