I am probably looking in the wrong place, but here goes... I am a business finance broker. Among my clients are two very interesting companies that are seeking funds. Both have products make a positive contribution to man. One company is 4 years old with revenues currently at $1MM, and projected revenue of $45MM by 2012. They are seeking approximately $350K in working capital. Next year is a big year for revenue and they just need capital until the contracts come in. The other company is new with a very strong worldwide disaster relief product that already has a $13MM order from Mexico with approximately $50MM in orders to follow. They are seeking $5MM

I am not looking for factoring type financing. Nor am I interested in having to work through a broker unless you allow direct communication with the lender. I would like to see what is out here in the way of debt financing and am open to other options as well.

I also have several strong franchise financing opportunities for lenders as well.

You are a business finance broker from California. How long have you been in this line of business??
Is this your business or do you work for somebody?? What is your track record??

When clients come to you, do they have a Business Plan already developed for you to read?? Or do you help them develope the Plan??

Another question is what is the normal PAY BACK period of time??

Thanks LUCKIEST

For those of us unfamiliar with this kind of financing, please explain this:

"We give interest free money to just about any business looking to grow."

Is this a merchant cash advance? I have never seen one that was interest free. Quite the contrary.

Thats exactly what we do. What businesses take out is what they pay back. No interest! They have unlimited time to pay it off.

If you want me to go more indepth, send me an e-mail and I will explain it to you.

Paula,

The first one does not sound like a debt opportunity, especially if there's no collateral.

It's also going to be a tough story to tell that a company is going to go from $1 million in sales to $45 million in four years. It just doesn't happen often, and in some cases such aggressive growth is the cause of a company's undoing as opposed to its success.

Since the company already has revenue, they've proven that someone, somewhere will pay for the product or service. That's a pretty huge accomplishment. It just sounds to me like this $350,000 will have to come from an equity investor. I can't see anyone doing this on a straight debt basis.

The second one...I don't have enough information to say. When you say "Mexico," do you mean the government or a company in Mexico?

If they have a $13 million order, how were they planning on fulfilling the order?

Have you looked at http://www.exim.gov/ ?

Why not just explain it here? Then everyone can learn.

My understanding of how merchant advances work is...a business borrows, say, $10,000. The lender sets up a repayment rate of, oh, let's use 12% for this example. So, every time the borrower processes $100 worth of credit card sales, the lender keeps $12 to go towards repayment.

Thing is, the borrower usually agrees to repay 30% (or more) on top of the loan amount. So, the merchant keeps paying 12% of credit sales until he's actually repaid $13,000 (or more) instead of just $10,000.

If it takes a year to pay off, then the debt cost about 30%. If only six months, then the cost is more like 60%.

Are you saying that for every $100 your company advances, you seek only $100 in repayment? And you do this with industry standard processing rates on the credit card transactions?

I'm new to the forum so please pardon any errors in posting. It appears the only way to post on a topic is in response to a previous post. Oh well...

I am having a difficult time acquiring funding for a state of the art Green building project. I live in Microsoft land where the techie demographic is high and welcoming of highly rated Green homes. I am a builder and my bank, B of A, won't touch me. Funny...how much of our tax dollars are they getting to prop up their business and they won't take a chance on a burgeoning new industry which creates and keeps jobs in America.

That's capitalism for you...no loyalty but to the bottom line. Meanwhile entrepeneurs like myself are committed to creating regional based economies which can trade on a global scale as opposed to a global economy which holds dominion over all regions and becomes "too big to aloow to fail" so they end up getting us both ways. They steal our markets when times are good and when times are bad they steal our tax dollars.

I'm looking for funding from a person/entity committed to strengthening the economy here at home and investing in Green Building. The use of local and sustainable products will not only firm up our regions but also allow for the creation of exportable Green technologies.

My current project is simple. I am trying to obtain funding to construct and market a 2100 square foot LEED Platinum single family residence. I can build it for the same cost per square foot as a traditional structure. I am forgoing all claims to profit margin so as to position myself favorably with an investor. This will better allow me to acquire funding for the foloow up project which will be a cluster ( 5 - 15 ) LEED Platinum homes in a community setting with 100% sustainable features.

If anyone is interested in this or would like more information please feel free to reply and I will email a proposal.

Thank you.

Shoot...I can't find an edit function to correct my spelling errors. I am not the best typist. I hope the obvious typographical errors in my previous post do not dissuade interested parties from considering the content of said post.

Okay. Time to go to work.

Happy day to you all.

Paul,

Let me explain in detail. I have tried to do a topic, but the moderators do not post it.

I work for a cash advance service from Visa/Mastercard called Advanced Merchant Capital. To sum up our service, we give interest free cash advances to businesses in need of money. Our service is very easy to get accepted, and can provide up to 300% of a businesses average monthly sales to advance a business however they choose - Stay alive, Upgrading, advertising, expanding, etc.

I am an agent, and my job is to find businesses in need of this kind of great service. Once I find a business and the business contacts me back, I give them a full detailed report, and if they are interested have them call Advanced Merchant Capital and talk to a representative to see if they can get their desired cash advance.

The repayment plan is very simple. What you take out is what you pay back, NO INTEREST. Business pay back 3-5% of their monthly earnings to us and have UNLIMITED time to pay it off. All they do is pay back 3-5% of their monthly earnings until it is fully paid off. Most businesses pay back within a year, but there is not time limit like I mentioned.

Another great thing about Advanced Merchant Capital is that once you have your advance paid off, you can get a new one. Basically, you can keep getting cash advances once your prior one is paid off.

This is a Visa/Mastercard service so a qualifying business must accept credit cards.

A business only has to be running 4 months before qualifying for the cash advance, so alot of new businesses are eligible.

Hope this answers your questions.

Cody, with all due respect, this is not possible.

Merchant advances cost money, as well they should. There is no free lunch.

If a merchant borrows $10,000, you can be assured they are going to repay, when all is said and done, more than $10,000. Period.

I spoke with someone at Advanced Merchant Capital (not another affiliate--someone at the company), and he confirmed this.

Please check your facts. I do not think your intention is to mislead anyone. Perhaps you are the one being misled, though.

GrowthCurve,

I will check with my advisor and clarify. This is what I was being led to tell businesses.

Sorry for any misleading information! Definitely not intentional!

Can a moderator please delete that post I made about Advanced Merchant Capital?

I dont want people getting misleading information.

Growthcurve,

I appreciate your awareness and have fixed my report to give to businesses.

Thanks!

Thanks to all the people who have contacted me. I have made at least one great contact that I am excited about.

Cody, I am not looking for merchant advance. The companies I am seeking financing on are not selling to consumers. I don't think a Mexican state is going to pay a $13MM order with a credit card. Also, may I suggest you learn more about the product you are selling... and see that is makes financial sense to YOU before making claims to others.

Luckiest and Growthcurve, two days ago I wrote out the answers to your questions, however apparently there was something in my post that was unacceptable as it was never posted. Hmmm.

Anyway, I have found at least one direct lender that may be a great match for these and other deals I have, so, mission accomplished. Although I would like to find more direct lenders. Looks like I have may help finance the filling of a large mix-use building with franchised businesses.

Growthcurve, thanks to you for your diligence in seeing that good and true info is disseminated.
